Capacitors in metallized polypropylene film for power electronics
IN PROTECTION CIRCUITS
These are used to build RC circuits in parallel to
semi-conductors to protect them from overvoltages.
In this application, the capacitors are submitted to very high,
but short lasting, current peaks.
