Metalized polypropylene film capacitors for discharge lamps
Humidity
The CM-2 and CMI-2 series capacitors for discharge lamps should be used in areas with the standard humidity levels of temperature European countries, which correspond to the 21days climatic category of the IEC 68-2-3 standard.
Capacitors of the CMS-2 and CMS-4 series can also be used in areas with tropical humidity levels corresponding to the 56 days climatic category of the IEC 68-2-3 standard.
These directions should also be followed to carry out correct storage. High humidity levels can irreversibility damage the capacitors.
Technical informations
The dielectric is polypropylene film, (bi-axially oriented) the electrodes consist of an extremely thin metal coating obtained by vacuum evaporation.
Case and cover are made with self-extinguishing plastic material.
