Descriptive Informations
The capacitors generally defined as motor capacitors are used for the start up and running of single-phase induction 2 and 3-windings motors.
The capacitance of these capacitors (permanent connection) must be carefully established to avoid possible overheating of the auxiliary winding.
Construction peculiarities.
The self sealing polypropylene metallized film used to make these capacitors allows you to obtain small size capacitors elements with very low losses.
These elements are then encapsulated in plastic or metal cases and then incorporated in resin. The metal case fitting makes them particularly safe as it allows them to be provided with the overpressure safety device.
This is a protective system, which allows you to deactivate the capacitor immediately in case of an accidental internal fault.
